Bonnie L. Goffinet, 90, of Tell City, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Oakwood Health Campus.
She was born in Troy, IN, on April 21, 1934, the daughter of the late Kermit and Henrietta (Labhart) Silverthorn.
Bonnie was a 1952 graduate of Chrisney High School. She was united in marriage to William “Bill” Goffinet on June 27, 1959, and they shared 52 years together before his passing in 2011. She had worked at General Electric and also ran Bettinger Chips. Bonnie was a member of the William Tell Campers Club, and enjoyed bowling, playing cards, crafts, crocheting, and tending her flower garden.
Surviving is her son, Terry Lee (Linda) Greathouse of Lewisport, KY; granddaughter, Leah (Kevin) Dorris; and three great-grandchildren, Charleigh Dorris, Madlynn Dorris, and a great-grandson arriving in February.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bill Goffinet.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Dorris officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3pm to 7pm on Monday, October 28, 2024, and from 9am until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
