Bonnie Lee Sabelhaus, 82, passed away on March 14, 2024, at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, IN.
Born June 9, 1941, in Perry County, IN, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Hazel (Brown) Amos.
Bonnie was united in marriage to Lloyd G. Sabelhaus on June 28, 1958, and they shared 61 years together before his passing in 2020. She retired after 29 years of service from the Tell City Chair Company. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, noodling, and traveling with her husband after they retired. Her greatest joy was time spent with her family and attending her grand and great grandchildren's sporting events, of which she rarely missed.
Survivors include her children, Lloyd (Jenny) Sabelhaus, Jr. of Tell City, Sue (Terry) Rogers of Tell City and Brian (Jacqueline) Sabelhaus of Santa Claus; siblings, Sharon Mullis, Linda Ball, Bill Amos, Donna Kratzer, Allen Amos, Marilyn McDaniels, Mary Amos, Martha Graves, and Jo Sodrel; grandchildren, Aaron VanWinkle, Amanda (Matt) VanWinkle, Alex (Leah) VanWinkle, Dane (Chelsea) Sabelhaus, Kaycie (Ian) Thompson , Derek (Nikki) Rogers, Caleb (Haley) Sabelhaus, Carly Sabelhaus Clint (Jeni) Albin, Amanda (Jeremy) Albin, Tyler Albin, and Nick Albin; and 17 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Sabelhaus Sr., a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Aaron VanWinkle and her siblings, Patricia Reed, Jerry Amos, Caroline Amos and Terri Moore.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30pm on Monday March 18, 2024, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Masterson officiating. Burial will follow immediately in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00am to 2:30pm on Monday, March 18, 2024, at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Riley Hospital for Children or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
