Bret Harpe

Bret Harpe, 64, of Tell City, passed away on February 2, 2025.

He was born on December 1, 1960, in Tell City, IN, to the late James and Opal (Doogs) Harpe.

Bret was married to Jeri (Board) Harpe on May 26, 1995. He was a member of the Army National Guard and the Sons of the American Legion. Bret was the owner/operator of his own truck, driving since 1988. He enjoyed fishing, loved people and never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jeri Harpe; sons, Jonathon James (Kourtney) of Tell City, and Clint Warner (April Keller) of Leitchfield, KY; along with his five grandchildren, Aayden, Bransyn Devon, Tanner, and Mason.

Bret was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James “Bubba” Harpe.

Per his wishes there will be no services.
