Kenneth A. “Bubba” Taylor, 61, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.
Bubba was born on January 20, 1964, in Tell City, IN, the son of Joe and Margie (Schwartz) Taylor, who precede him in death.
He was a 1982 graduate of Tell City High School. Bubba drove a school bus for the Tell Troy Township School Corporation for over 20 years. He was also delivery driver for the Hedinger Beverage Company, from where he retired after 20 years of service.
Bubba was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church. He was the founding father of “Gobbler's Knob” who enjoyed farming, spending time with good company and his “grandkids”.
He is survived by two brothers, John (Laura) Taylor of St. Marks and Dennis (Edna) Taylor of Branchville; nieces and nephews, Zachary (Jennifer) Taylor, Deni (Jake) Burke, and Josh (Brooke) Taylor; his “boys”, Ryan Gelarden and Shane Gelarden both of Tell City; and his “grandkids”, Ty, Kash, Klyne, Dax, Isla, Trayce Gelarden, and Zoey and Piper Anson; along with countless friends he called family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at St. Marks Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Marks Catholic Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 until Mass at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Marks Catholic Church Cemetery Fund.
