Carolyn A. Leitner, 77, of Tell City, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the Linda E. White Hospice House, in Evansville, IN.
She was born on October 24, 1948, in Louisville, KY, to the late Forrest and Verena (Mullis) Blanford.
Carolyn retired from General Electric after several years of dedicated service. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, as well as the rest of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Denny Leitner of Tell City, children, Kathy Fischer (Michael Reed) and Kory Wroe, both of Tell City, stepson, Derek Leitner of Maryland, siblings, Jeanette Pannett of Tell City, Manford Blanford of Tell City, and Forrest Blanford of Cannelton, grandsons, Randy Lee (Fallon) Henson and Eric Shane (Breanna) Henson, great grandchildren, Zion, Noah, Paisley, and Brantley, along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her son, Kelly Privette, and 2 sisters, Donna Dawson and Marion Stout.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 3:00 - 7:00pm and on Wednesday from 9:00am until service time at the funeral home.
