Charles Blanton Obituary
Charles M. Blanton, 64, passed away Sunday February 6, 2022 at his home in Tell City, IN.
He was born in Clarkson, Kentucky on July 5, 1957 the son of the late Marvin and Gracie (Stevenson) Blanton. He married Cindy Braunecker on October 24, 1982 who preceded him in death in 2016.
Charlie was UK sports fanatic, enjoyed watching wrestling on TV, watching his son Brian bowl and spending time with his dog, Bear.
Surviving is his son, Brian of Tell City, IN; a sister, Alice Burns and a brother, James Blanton both of Leitchfield, KY.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Cindy he is preceded in death by brothers, Richard and Lee.
Services will be 7:00pm Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with burial at a later date in Troy City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
