Cindy Blanton Obituary

Cindy R. Blanton, 56, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.

She was born February 14, 1960. Cindy was united in marriage on October 24, 1982 to Charles Blanton. An avid reader, Cindy would visit the Perry County Public Library almost daily. She also enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, Charles of Tell City; a son, Brian of Tell City; brothers, Ed (Angie) Braunecker, Robert Braunecker, Steve (LaJuana) Braunecker, all of Tell City, and Keith (Lisa) Smith of New Salisbury; sisters, Jenny (Matthew) Rosenbaum of Hatfield, Sarah (Vance) Haynes and Teresa (Augie) Stanton, both of Texas; and her beloved dog, Sparky.

Preceding her in death are her father, Edward Braunecker; mother, Bobbi Jean (Purviance) Smith; step-father, King Smith.

Funeral services will be 10am CST Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Troy City Cemetery. Sister Linda Simpson will officiate.

Visitation will be Monday from 2-8pm and Tuesday 8:30-service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
