Clyde M. Jones

Clyde M. Jones, 90, passed away December 31, 2021 at Golden Living Center in Tell City.

He was born February 3, 1931 in Lawrenceville, IL the son of the late Charles and Ethel Sanders Jones. He married Betty Diggs on April 27, 1951 who survives him. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

Clyde was in supermarket management having been employed at Red & White, Key Market and Werners Market.

He served for 40years as song leader at Tell Street Baptist Church and enjoyed Dallas Cowboys football..

Survivors include his wife, Betty, a daughter, Rita Ann (David) Sprinkle of Tell City, IN; sons, Wayde ( Fiance' Terry Brinker) Jones of Evansville, IN, Chuck (Kari) Jones of Hawesville, KY, Kent (Ronna) Jones of Tell City, IN; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents is a brother, Ray Jones.

Services will be 11:00 am Tuesday January 4, 2022 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery with American Legion Military Honors.

Visitation will be from 3:00pm to 7:00pm Monday and from 10:00am to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

IN 47586.
