Connie R. Craig, 85, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026. She was born on February 24, 1941, in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Connie was united in marriage to Charles Craig on March 21, 1970. Together, they shared 40 beautiful years before his passing in 2011.
Connie retired in 2008 from Stewart Warner in Tell City after many dedicated years of service. Her greatest joy came from her family. She treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Connie also found happiness in the simple pleasures—visiting the casino and tending to her flower garden.
She is survived by her children, Tony (Kim) Barker of St. Marks, Joyce (Donnie) Brandle of Reynolds Station, and Jerry (Missy) Craig of Tell City; her siblings, Carolyn (Kenny) Applegate of Cannelton, Robbie Horn and Judy Payne of Owensboro, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Kelly (David) Litherland, Karry (Matt) Labhart, Brandon (Laura) Barker, Samantha Barker, Kassi (Grant) Dauby, Lauren (Seth Aud) Kellems, Drew (Mikayla) Craig, Darrian (Kylie) Craig, and Zach (Tasha) McCallister; and 20 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Connie was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Artie Mae (Morris) and Robert Louis Horn; her sons, David and Kenny Barker; and her brother, Johnny Horn.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Tell City.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00–7:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to April Taylor for the love, care, and compassion she so generously gave to Connie.
