Daniel C. Henze, 70, of Tell City passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville.
Born September 4, 1949 in Tell City, he was the son of Charles “Bud” and Mildred Fendel Henze. He married Virginia “Gen” Aders on June 9, 1973, was a union carpenter and later employed by and retired from General Electric.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Danny enjoyed horseback riding, gardening, winemaking and baseball.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia “Gen” ; a daughter, Lisa (J.J.) Henze of Kingston Springs, TN; a son, Scott (Samatha) Henze of Evansville; sisters, Nola Eades of Tell City, Mary Kay Fendel of Owensboro, KY; 3 grandchildren, Grayson Daniel Henze, Landus Jackson (Shelby) Tittle, Sydney Jade (Thomas) Tittle and a great granddaughter, Saylor Joy.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents is a sister Vicki Henze.
Services will be held at 11 am Thursday March 5, 2020 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3pm to 7pm Wednesday and from 9am to service time Thursday at the funeral home.
