Delores “Faye” Seibert, 73, passed away February 20, 2021 at Golden Living Center in Tell City after a 5 year battle with Lewey Body Dementia.
She was born in Gatchel, Indiana on March 5, 1947 the daughter of the late Andrew and Muriel (Howell) Goffinet. She married Howard Seibert on August 31, 1963 at Lily Dale Church of Christ who preceded her on death on November 4, 2008
She enjoyed traveling, bus tours, grass cutting, flower gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She grew to love the game of baseball through her husband, son and grandsons. She was their biggest fan.
She retired from GE in 2003.
She is survived by her daughters, Kristina Seibert and Sally Houzanme, a son Steven (Patty) Seibert; grandchildren, Ashton Zuelly, Ryan Zuelly, Dayne (Emily) Seibert, Damarion Walker, Jaden Houzanme; great grandchildren, Caslin and Ember Zuelly; sisters Rosie May and Wilma Robinson; in-laws, Gordon and Frances Taylor and Herbie Seibert.
Faye and Howard were loving parents and grandparents. Their house was a revolving door for friends and family. Through the years they created bonds that last forever. They cared for many children as their own. Their legacy will live forever in these people they cared for including DeShawn London and his sons De'Andre and Grayson, Jessica Sarnowski and Emily Kendall.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by a sister Carolyn Richards and a brother Phillip Goffinet.
Services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday February 23, 2021 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral home with Bro Eddie Olberding officiating. Burial will be in Schraner Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:00pm to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
