Dennis W. Labhart

Dennis W. Labhart, 76, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Cypress Grove Rehabilitation Center for Veterans in Newburgh, IN.

He was born August 31, 1949, in Tell City, IN, son of the late Paul “Jack” and Mary Sofia (Gross) Labhart.

Dennis graduated from Tell City High School in 1967. He went on to join the United States Army serving our country for 10 years and doing 2 tours in Vietnam. Dennis had formerly worked as an electrician, in maintenance and for Campbell Soup Company in Arkansas. He enjoyed collecting coins, reading books, and his cats.

He is survived by brothers, Marion "Butch" Labhart (Donna) of Utica, KY, Larry Labhart of Huntingburg, Roy Labhart (Jeanie) of Tell City, Jerry Labhart (Kathy), of Tell City, and Thomas Labhart (Gina) of Tell City; along with several nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Arverda “Toady” Labhart.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9 am until service time at the funeral home.
