Diann Williams

Diann Lynn Williams, 67, of Tell City, IN, passed away on August 31, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on April 27, 1956, in Evansville, IN, to Stanley J. and Pauline C. (Kuntz) Fischer. Diann was united in marriage to Ronald Williams on October 4, 1975, and together they shared 47 wonderful years.

Diann was a 1974 graduate of Tell City High School and also graduated from Owensboro Business College. She retired from Fischer's Furniture after 40 years of service and ventured on to own and operate Domestic Goddess. Diann was a member of the Tell City Moose Lodge 1424 and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 213. She loved going on vacations, shopping trips and taking care of her flowers, however her greatest joy was her time spent with family and friends but most importantly her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ron Williams; her children, Jennifer (Brett) Tuggle of Ferdinand, Lisa (Coy) Zuelly of Tell City, and Sara (Joey) Foster of Marion, IL; her siblings, Jerry (Kate) Fischer of Tell City, Donna (Pat) McNulty of Owensboro, Sharon Little of Moore OK, Janet (Dick) Veeck of Evanston, Betty (J.T.) Hagedorn of Evanston, Richard (Lahna) Fischer of Tell City, and Teresa (Keith) Lutgring of Evanston; and her five grandchildren, Madeline and Will Tuggle, Peyton, Carli and Leighton Zuelly.

Diann was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10am on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Fr. Kolbe Wolniakowski officiating. Burial will follow at Troy Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2pm to 8pm on Friday, September 1, 2023, and from 8am until service time on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for her grandchildren.
