Dolph L. Foster, Jr., 88, passed away Tuesday June 15, 2021 at his home near St Meinrad, IN.
He was born August 15, 1932 at Leopold, Indiana to the late Dolph and Geneva (Genet) Foster, Sr. He married Faye Sandage on June 7, 1952. Dolph was the owner operator of Foster Brothers Trucking for 25years and was a farmer.
He enjoyed camping and fishing.
Surviving is his wife, Faye, sons, Tim Foster of St Meinrad, IN, Robert L. Foster of Carlisle, IN; a daughter Cindy Foster of Tell City, IN; sisters, Charlotte (Tom) Arnold, Merilyn Leinenbach both of Tell City, IN, Carol Joos of Troy, IN; a brother Maurice Foster of Tell City, IN; grandchildren, Holli Foster, Zach (Lindsay) Foster, Jason (Holly) Peter, Jared Peter, Josh Peter, Rhonda Foster, Amie (Carl) Jones, Lyla (Joe) Harger, Dustyn (Adrianne) Foster and 17 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, David L. Foster and his brother Gerald Foster.
Services will be at 11:00 am Friday June 18, 2021, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Isidore Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday June 17, 2021 from 2:00pm to 7:00pm and from 9:00am to service time Friday at the Funeral Home.
