Donna S. Cummings

Donna J. Sandage Cummings, 85, passed away Sunday December 18, 2022, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

Donna was born on August 10, 1937, in Dale, IN, to Alton and Dorothy Blackford. She was united in marriage on September 8,1956 to Clarence “Dumpy” Cummings. Donna was a 1956 graduate of Oil Township High School in Perry County, IN. She was a member of the Bethel Christian Church in Doolittle Mills for 70 years.

Donna retired earlier this year after working 30 years at Marcy's (which she once owned when it was Good Time Charlie's) in Leopold, IN. Prior to that, Donna worked for General Electric in Tell City, IN, Aristocrat (now Master-Craft) in Jasper, and Sound Design in Santa Claus, and

Surviving are her two sons, Charlie Cummings of Doolittle Mills and Jeffery Cummings of Indianapolis, IN and Cork, Ireland, and grandson Alton Cummings of Aurora, IN.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Clarence “Dumpy” Cummings who passed in April of 2015.

Funeral services will be 6:00pm on Thursday December 22, 2022, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 6:00pm on Thursday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
