Doreen Lamar

Doreen Lamar, 66, passed away on Tuesday October 18, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Doreen was born in Perry County, Indiana on March 1, 1956. The daughter of the late Albert and Wilma (Cotton) Lamar.

Doreen had worked for Tell City Chair Factory, Tell City Police Department, St. Meinrad Archabbey/ Abbey Press and Abbey Data Services and Communication Logistics, Inc. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church, and she enjoyed reading, Facebook, and talking to everybody.

She is survived by her sister, Donna Lamar, with whom she lived; her brother, David Lamar of Tell City; and a niece, Rachel Lamar of Tell City.

Services will be on Monday, October 24, 2022, at 10:00am at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Fr. Steve Donahue officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Troy, IN.

Visitation will be on Sunday, October 23, 2022, from 1:00pm to 6:00pm and on Monday from 8:30am until service time at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
