Dorothy K. Griepenstroh

Dorothy K. Griepenstroh ,91, died peacefully May 21, 2020 at her home.

She was born December 30, 1928 in Tell City to the late Adolph and Martha Nuetzel Lambeck. She was a 1945 graduate of Troy High School. Dorothy married Ralph Griepenstroh in 1947 who preceded her in death in 2002.

She was retired from General Electric and after retirement worked at Best Chairs. She loved to play cards, cook, spend time with family, read and her church, Trinity United Church of Christ.

She was blessed to be be visited by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving is her daughter, Ruth Ann (Roger) Guth of Rockport, sons, Tom (Karen) Griepenstroh of Lamar, Joe Griepenstroh of Rockport; a sister Mildred Werne of Tell City; grandchildren, Angela (Dale) English, Mike (Sara) Guth, Ryan (Tish) Griepenstroh, Wayne Griepenstroh, Brian (Courtney) Guth, Jeremy (Stephanie) Lindsey, Tiffany Gaines; 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Ralph and parents she was preceded in death by her grandson's wife, Lindsey Griepenstroh and a former daughter-in-law, Rita Lindsey

Services will be 11am Monday May 25, 2020 at Trinity United Church of Christ with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday May 24, 2020 from 1pm to 5pm at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home and from 10 am to service time Monday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Cemetery or Heart to Heart Hospice.
