Dorothy Ann LaGrange, 92, was born on August 31, 1930, in St. Marks, IN, to Theodore and Lydia (Winter) Boerste. In that same home on July 14, 2023, Dorothy passed away surrounded by her loving family.
Dorothy graduated from Tell City High School in 1948. She was united in marriage to Ovalee August LaGrange on November 25, 1948, and they shared 74 wonderful years together.
She was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church and the Church Choir, St. Marks Home Economics, and Daughters of Isabella. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, reading and playing cards, especially euchre. Her greatest enjoyments were her grandchildren and she loved watching them in all their activities. Dorothy was known by all for her generous, never judgmental, kind heart.
