With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Lee Middleton on March 10, 2025. Ed left this world peacefully, joining in eternal rest his beloved parents, Ted and Ada Middleton, who predeceased him.
He is survived by his loving children Kelly (husband Jeff), Doug, and David, grandson Nolan Bayers, his cherished partner Joyce Charles, his devoted brother and sister-in-law William and Bonnie Middleton, dear friends Bill and Janet Weedman, Barry White and his beloved feline companion, Pee-Wee, who brought him much joy and comfort.
A hardworking man with a kind and generous spirit, His working career included General Electric and International Harvester. Ed was a loving father, a loyal friend, and a proud member of the Tell City community, where he forged countless friendships. He was known for his passion for cars. His love of automobiles was matched only by his dedication to his family and his fondness for the town and people he called home. He was a member of Tell City Masonic Lodge #623.
Ed's warmth, humor, and steadfast nature touched the lives of many, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
Funeral services, which will include a Masonic Service, will be held on March 14, 2025, 6:00 CST.
A special and heartfelt thank you to the compassionate staff of Perry County Memorial Hospital and Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for their attentive care during his final days.
Ed will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
