Eric J. Polster

Eric James Polster, 57, of Evanston, passed away on April 11, 2023. Eric was born on January 21, 1966, in Tell City, Indiana, the son of Bobbi (Powers) Polster of Tell City and the late James A. Polster.

Eric graduated from Heritage Hills High School in 1985. He drove a truck for most of his working career and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Eric enjoyed hunting, shooting guns, working on the farm, but most of all he loved spending time with his grand kids.

Survivors include his mother, Bobbi Polster of Tell City; son, Logan (Abby) Polster of New Boston; grandchildren, Caleb and Chelsea; brother Michael (Donna) Polster of Evanston; nephew, Zach (Gabby) Polster; and his great-nephew Henry.

Eric is preceded in death by his father, James A Polster.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, April 14, 2023, at St. John's Lutheran Church with burial immediately following in the Church Cemetery. Pastor Steve Shank will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 2pm to 7pm Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home and from 9am to 11am on Friday, April 14, 2023, at St. John's Lutheran Church.
