Alta “Faye” Faulkner, 74, passed away on May 31, 2026, at her home in Tell City, Indiana.
Born in Sulphur, Indiana, on July 10, 1951, Faye was the daughter of the late Thomas and Arzetta (Hawkins) Collins.
Faye dedicated many years of her working life to Styline Industries, where she served as an assistant foreman until her retirement. She was known for her strong work ethic, dedication, and the friendships she formed throughout her career.
In her free time, Faye enjoyed crocheting, collecting knickknacks, and had a special fondness for dolphins and anything purple. She found joy in life's simple pleasures and loved surrounding herself with the things that made her smile. Above all, Faye cherished her family. Spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought her the greatest happiness, and the memories she created with them will be treasured for years to come.
Faye is survived by her children, Tracy Lampkins of Tell City, Susan (Billy) Sheckells of Magnet, and Gene (Susan) Mosley of Indianapolis; her sisters, Gin, Peggy, Patty, Ruby, Kim, and Barbara; 10 grandchildren, Zara, Kanisha, Bubby, Azley, Brittany, Kayla, Matthew, Natasha, Reagan and Morgan; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the funeral home.
