Frances Sturgeon Obituary
Frances Sturgeon, 91, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand.
She was born in Louisville, KY on July 5, 1922.
Frances was a member of Oak Ridge Pentecostal Church and enjoyed being outside, flowers and gardening.
Surviving is her very best friend, Sandy Hempfling; brothers, Kenneth and Kimmel McKim.
Preceding her in death is first husband, Oliver Morgan; second husband, Roscoe Sturgeon; father, Alvin Atkins; mother and step father, Anna (Sturgeon) and Will McKim; brothers, William, Charles and Gido Atkins; sisters, Lois Enlow, Clois Hollen, Lois McKim Atkins, Anna Mae Snider and Ruby Patton.
Funeral services will at 11:00AM CST Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Oak Ridge Pentecostal Church in Bristow. Pastor David Hayes will officiate. Burial will follow in Beard Cemetery. Visitation will be at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00PM and Thursday from 10:00AM until service time at the church.
