Gail Lawrence

Gail Lawrence, 66, passed away on December 3, 2023, at her home.

She was born on November 9, 1957, in New Castle, IN, the daughter of the late Jilson and Janet (Rowe) Fox.

Gail graduated from William Henry Harrison High School in 1975 and later USI from where she obtained her nursing degree. Gail married David Lawrence in March of 1999, and they shared 24 years together.

She was a registered nurse at Perry County Memorial Hospital and later retired from Branchville Correctional Facility. She enjoyed cooking and she was good at it, always making enough to feed an army. Gail was a giver and enjoyed crocheting, gardening and going for motorcycle rides. Gail loved her family deeply and enjoyed spending time with her grand kids and her fur baby Maggie Mae.

Survivors include her husband, David Lawrence; her sons, Jeff (Amy) Campbell and Tim Campbell both of Tell City; brother, Mark (Bonnie) Fox; six grandchildren, Rhiannon, Talon, Makenzie, Alyssa, Kalynn and Kamrynn; 2 great-grandchildren, Nico and North.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Kristopher Campbell.
 

There will be a visitation from 2:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
