Gary W. Sandage

Gary W. Sandage, 65, passed away on July 12, 2023, at his home in Tell City, IN.

He was born on September 24, 1957, in Perry County, IN, the son of Oliver and Hope (Howell) Sandage.

Gary graduated from Perry Central High School. He worked as a union machinist for Silgan Closures in Evansville, IN, for many years. He enjoyed fishing, car races, hockey games, hunting, and golfing.

Surviving is his wife, Barbara (Rust) Sandage, his daughter, Laura Sandage; brothers, Donald and Ronnie Sandage; brother-in-law, John (Teri) Rust; sister-in-law, Mitzi (Bill) Patmore; his nephew Matt (Kate) Patmore and their children, Nola and Maya; and his beloved cat Molly.

Preceding him on death in addition to his parents was a sister, Sharon Harding and a brother, Stephen Sandage in infancy.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
