Irmina Davis, 84, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 at her home in Troy.
She was born August 29, 1928 in Troy, IN to Frank and Sophia (Simon) Kuntz.
Irmina was married on April 20, 1949 to James Davis, who precedes her in death in 1967.
Also preceding her in death are her parents; a son, Phillip Davis; a brother, Robert Kuntz; sisters Pauline Fischer, Anna Johnson and Helen Mattingly.
Surviving are her children, Steve Davis of Tell City, Joe Davis of Casper, WY, Bruce Davis of Loogootee, John Davis of Troy and Sue Davis of Tell City; a brother, James Kuntz of Hendersonville, TN; sisters, Frances Kuntz of Troy and Gladys Baur of Tell City; nine grandchildren, Zach, Wes, Siobhan, Mason, Colby, Frank, Julie and Jack Davis and Abbi Roy; seven great-grandchildren, Addy, Reece and Laney Davis, Parker, Colson, Emmit Roy and Ronan Sondhe.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery in Troy, IN. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Cemetery.
