James L. “Jimmy” Braunecker, II, 49, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital..
He was born November 23, 1971 in Tell City, the son of the late James Braunecker and Myrtle (Stephens) Braunecker who survives.
Jimmy was a graduate of Tell City High School and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He had been employed in auto sales for Cambron Chevrolet, Champion Ford & Lincoln and most recently with Sternberg Chrysler Center in Jasper, IN. He was a member of the Tell City Moose and enjoyed Tell City sports, IU sports and the Indianapolis Colts. He formerly served as a Tell City Reserve Police Officer.
Survivors include his mother Mert Braunecker of Tell City, his companion, Lou Moskos and her daughter, Amber Sharon of Tell City, a son, Dakota Braunecker of Louisville, KY, a daughter, Ashley (Chris) Woodlock of Corydon, sisters, Debbie (Mike) Varner of Edmond, OK, Tammy (Billy) Linder of DeLand, FL, Rochelle Smith of Tell City, IN, grandchildren, Bruce, Chandler and LaMichael, nieces, Nikita, Danielle, and Bridget, a nephew, Michael, a great niece, Kalea and a great nephew, Kamden and several cousins..
Preceding him in death is his father and an infant sister, Jana Lynn.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday January 29 , 2021 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday and from 9:00 am to service time Friday at the funeral home.
