James E. Cassidy

James E. Cassidy,77, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Born in Troy, Indiana, he was the son of the late Harry Cassidy and Elizabeth (Russell) Lindauer. He was united in marriage to Nancy Beatty on July 18, 1970. James graduated from Cannelton High School in 1963 and was a 50-year member of Boilermakers Local 374. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Hadi Shriners. James enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening and loved animals.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Nancy Cassidy; his children, Krista and husband Scott Boehman of Lamar, IN, James E. and wife Kelly Cassidy II of Evanston, IN and Tammy and husband Dustin Wilkerson of Grandview, IN; sister, Barb Varner of Troy, IN; grandchildren, Emmit James (Meagan) Baker, Ryan Baker, Julie Boehman, Bryan Scherer, Cassidy Luecke, Carly Cassidy, Katelyn Cassidy, Josh (Cory) Boehman, Kamie (Matt) Boehman, Austin (Chynna) Wilkerson, Kyla Wilkerson and Kaleb Wilkerson; 4 great grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.

The open house Celebration of Life has been changed to October 29, 2022, at Evanston Community Center at 2:00pm.
