Jeanette Pannett, 78, of Tell City, passed away on September 16, 2026, at her home. She was born on October 3, 1947, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Forrest and Verena (Mullis) Blanford.
Jeanette was a graduate of Tell City High School and later retired from General Electric after many dedicated years of service. She enjoyed listening to music and attending concerts. Above all, Jeanette treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her great-granddaughter, Audrey, who brought her so much joy. Those special moments together will be fondly remembered by those who loved her.
Jeanette is survived by her son, Dave (Patty) Pannett, and her daughter, Kara (Brian) Rice; her siblings, Forrest Blanford of Cannelton and Manford Blanford of Tell City; her grandson, Robby (Mackenzie) Pannett; and her great-granddaughter, Audrey Pannett.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Carolyn Leitner, Donna Dawson, and Marian Stout.
Per Jeanette’s request, there will be no formal services. Her family will hold a celebration of life in her honor at a later date. She will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.
