Jeanette (Broyles) Ward

Jeanette Ward, 86, passed away on Sunday November 06, 2022, at her home.

Jeanette was born on May 20, 1936, in Paducah, KY, to the late Conley and Mildred (Parks) Broyles.

Jeanette graduated from Lone Oak High School in 1954 and from Draughon's Business College of Paducah, KY. She was united in marriage on October 16, 1960, to Roy L. Ward. She was employed at the Paducah Chamber of Commerce and in the development office at Saint Meinrad Archabbey. She was a 50-year member of the First Baptist Church where she was the church librarian and sang in the choir. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Society and the PCMH Women's Auxiliary. Jeanette enjoyed her cats and adored her family.

Surviving is her husband of 62 years, Roy Ward; children David (Kim) Ward of Tell City, Charles Ward of Tell City, and Lori (Paul) Dials of Stamping Ground, KY; grandchildren, Seth Ward, Nathan (Jayme) Dials, Ethan (Alicia special friend) Dials; great-grandchildren, Lily and Sammy.

In addition to her parents, Jeanette is preceded in death by her siblings, Harold T. Broyles and Martha Sue Broyles, and her grandson, Joshua Ward.

Services will be on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 11:00am at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Troy Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm and on Thursday from 10:00am to service time at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church.
