Jerry W. Brown Sr.

Jerry W. Brown Sr., 82, passed away January 28, 2023, at Oakwood Health Campus.

He was born June 26, 1940, to Basil and Gladys (Morris) Brown. He was united in holy marriage to Patty A. (Williams) Brown, on October 1, 1960, who preceded him in death in 2018.

Jerry worked at Herrman Peter Plumbing doing plumbing and electrical for most of his life. He was a member of the flying club and enjoyed flying planes and playing music in a band. He was also a member of the St. Pius Church.

Surviving are his sons, Jerry Brown, Jr. and Tracy Brown, Sr. both of Tell City; sisters, Shirley Lindauer of Tell City, and Linda Alvey of Tell City; 5 grandchildren, Aaron Brown, Cody Brown, Tracy Brown, Jr., Robbie Brown, and Sydney Brown; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents and his wife, is a brother Don Brown.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at St. Pius Catholic Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Fr. Steve Donahue will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 - 7 pm Tuesday, January 31 and from 8:30 - 9:15 am Wednesday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
