JoAnn Fischer

JoAnn Fischer, 92, passed away November 7, 2019 at Golden Living Center.

Born November 16, 1927 in Owensboro, KY she was the daughter of Sam and Lena Poole Harrington.

She was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary. JoAnn enjoyed Bingo, cards, her dog Jody and was an IU fan.

Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Herrmann of Tell City ; grandchildren Heather Joest, Jason Herrmann; 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents,is her spouses, Harold Herrmann and James Jim Fischer, a son Bill Herrmann, sisters, Catherine King, Ruth Von Asher, Louise Pennington, Dorothy Williams,Marjie Gentilcore; brothers Sam Harrington and William Harrington.

Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday November 13, 2019 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with burial in St. Mary Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 pm to 7 pm Tuesday  and Wednesday  9 am to service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Heart to Heart Hospice or Golden Living Center Activities Fund.
