Joe Blum

Joe Blum, 82, passed away Tuesday April 12, 2022 at his home.

He was born in Perry County, IN on January 13, 1940 to the late Frank and Helen (Dixon) Blum. He was united in marriage to Becky Haller on May 8, 1965.

Joe was the president of Blum Lumber and Crating and Blum Turkey Farm. He enjoyed bowling and gardening and was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Becky of Tell City; sons, Bill Blum and Kevin (Jennifer) Blum both of Tell City; a brother Alan of Tell City; grandchildren, Kyle (Tie) Blum, Jared Blum, Megan (Dee Jay) Shaw, Andrew Blum and a great granddaughter, Anzley Blum.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents is a son Danny and a brother, Paul Blum.

Funeral rites will be at 10:00am Thursday, April 14, 2022 at St. Mark Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Hollowell officiating with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 7:00pm Wednesday and from 8:00 to 9:15am Thursday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
