John Noble Obituary

John H. Noble, 84, passed away on April 23,2025, at the University of Louisville Hospital.

He was born in Owensboro, KY on December 29, 1940, son of the late John F. and Millie (Bristow) Noble, Sr.

John was a 1959 graduate of Tell City High School and attended classes at the University of Evansville. He then went on to work alongside his father, John F. Noble, Sr. at Noble's IGA, a supermarket built, owned, operated, and currently still in operation by the third generation of the Noble family. John was united in marriage to Linda Kleeman on July 15, 1961. He was a member of St. Paul Church, Hoosier Heights Country Club, K of C, member and former president of the Chamber of Commerce, and was a board member for Old National Bank.

On any given day you could find John teeing off at the Hoosier Heights Country Club, playing cards, mowing grass, doing yard work, or working on his land. He enjoyed being with his family, especially the time he spent with his grandkids. They enjoyed some competitive golf scrambles on their Noble family vacations.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving him are his wife of 63 years Linda Noble; children, Jerri (Tom) Clark, Brian (Wendy) Noble, Wesley (Laura) Noble and Merrie (John) Redwanski; a sister, Barbara Kast; grandchildren, Christopher, Anna, and Nikoli Clark of Evansville, Colin, Evan, and Andrew Noble of Tell City, and J.T. Noble of Carmel.
