John "Sonny" Leimgruber

John “Sonny” Leimgruber, 84, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN.

He was born on December 19, 1938, in Tell City, IN, to John and Wanda (Harpe) Leimgruber.

John enjoyed walking on the river, fishing, and hunting arrowheads.

Surviving are his sisters, Linda Clarke and Sharon (David) Blake both of Tell City, along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his siblings, Larry Leimgruber, Helen Carter, George Leimgruber and Carol Risse.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Fr. Tony Hollowell officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 8am to 1pm on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
