Joneasha (Hardesty) Shoemaker

Joneasha Shoemaker, 41, passed away on September 30, 2023, at her home in Cannelton, IN. She was born in Owensboro, KY, on December 7, 1981, the daughter of Mark and Tina (Hardesty) Burst.

Joneasha had a love for music. She enjoyed spending time with her animals, children, family and friends. She was caring, giving, and always loved with a big heart. 

Joneasha is survived by her mother, Tina Burst; children, Gracie Thompson of KY, and Isaiah A. Kieser, Mercy Litherland, and Aryan Litherland all of Tell City; siblings, Wytoshie Winchell of Derby, Kacie Winchell of Huntingburg, Samantha Burst of Owensboro, and Deke Winchell of Cannelton; grandparents, Kenneth and Sharon Hardesty of Cadiz KY, Ed Elder of Deltona FL, and Yvonne Burst of Cannelton.

She was preceded in death by her father Mark Burst.

Funeral services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lamb Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4pm to 7pm on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, and from 8:30am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
