Kermit R. Wittman

Kermit R. Wittman,84, died Wednesday December 22, 2021 at Golden Living Center in Tell City.

He was born June 2, 1937 in Spencer County, Indiana the son of the late Raymond and Nelda Ubelhack. He married Lena Coultas on December 4, 1960. He was retired from Fischers Furniture in Tell City and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Kermit enjoyed all sports, especially St. Louis Cardinals baseball, playing cards and spending time with family.

Survivors include his wife, Lena; a daughter Joyce Beard of Dale, IN; sons, Robert Wittman and John Wittman both of Tell City, IN; brothers, Eugene (Carolyn) Wittman of Newburgh, IN, Leonard (Iris) Wittman of Evanston, IN; grandchildren, Michelle (Ben) Grimm, Brittany (Mike) Jones, Jacob Beard, Autumn Snyder, Cody (Alyssa) Beard and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son-in-law, Larry Beard.

Services will be at 2:00pm Monday December 27, 2021 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Coultas officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery near Evanston.

Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time Monday at the funeral home.
