Larry L. Foster, 83, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Tell City, IN, on April 11, 1941, the son of Cyril and Hettie Pearl (Bryant) Foster. Larry was married to Lucinda (Sprinkle) Hall. He spent most of his working career as the owner and operator of Foster Brothers Trucking, and then worked several more years driving truck for Best Chairs. He liked feeding the birds and squirrels, word searches, bible studies, and most importantly serving the Lord.
Surviving are his wife, Cindy Foster of Tell City; children, Janice (Doug) Little, Tammy (Tom) Sanders, Lee (Kristie) Hall, Tabitha Eckert, Mindy (Jeff) Dickenson; sister Helen Shaw; grandchildren, Stephen (Holli) Dawson, Phillip Dawson, Matthew Little, Ethan (Cheyenne) Eckert, Emily (Ryan) Kessens, Stephen (Sarah) Poehlein, Colton Sanders, Logan Hall, Nylah Hall, Zane Fears, Tate Fears, Lincoln Hall, Mallory (Joe) Brown, Allison Sauer, Nathan Sauer, and Murphy Dickenson; great-grandchildren, Eric Little, Bryer Little, Makayla Dawson, Makenzie Dawson, Lindsey Dawson, Kaydence Poehlein, Klaire Poehlein, Kennedy Poehlein, Alexander Eckert, Elsa Eckert, Cameron Brown, Owen Brown, Wyatt Rogers, Carleigh Rogers, Nevaeh Mercer, Bodhi Sauer and Rylee Sauer.
In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by his first wife Eloise (Miller) Foster and his siblings, Robert Foster Sr., Linda Lumpkins and three sisters in infancy.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Ammon officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, October 7, 2024, from 3:00-7:00pm and Tuesday from 9:00am until service time at the funeral home.
