Lena I. Wittman

Lena I. Wittman, 80, died Wednesday April 6, 2022 at her home in Tell City.

She was born November 1, 1941 in Perry County, Indiana the daughter of the late Charles and Verona (Sandage) Coultas. She married Kermit Wittman on December 4, 1960.

Lena had worked at the American Legion Post 213 and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed quilting, gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include ; sons, Robert Wittman and John Wittman both of Tell City, IN; a daughter Joyce Beard of Dale, IN; brothers-in-law, Eugene (Carolyn) Wittman of Newburgh, IN, Leonard (Iris) Wittman of Evanston, IN; grandchildren, Michelle (Ben) Grimm, Brittany (Mike) Jones, Jacob Beard, Autumn Snyder, Cody (Alyssa) Beard and 6 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Larry Beard and her siblings, Doyle Coultas, Charles Coultas, Harry Coultas, Wilbur Coultas and Bonnie Welch..

Services will be 2:00pm Friday April 8, 2022 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Coultas officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery near Evanston.

Visitation will be from 10:00am to service time Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or cemetery.
