Linda Aders

Linda Ann (Wheeler) Aders, 84, of Bristow, IN, passed away August 25, 2023, at Oakwood Health Campus.

She was born October 23, 1938, in Tell City, IN, to William “Red” and Opal (Epple) Wheeler. She was united in marriage to John Joseph Aders on June 1st, 1957, and they shared 45 wonderful years together. 

Linda was a graduate of Bristow High School and had worked for General Electric. She enjoyed going on vacations and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Bill (Jennifer) Aders of Bristow, Beverly Traphagen of Renton WA, and Brad (Kim) Aders of St. Marks; sister, Martha (Frank) Heeke of Evanston; son-in-law, Paul Melichar of Midland, MI; nine grandchildren, Kate, Brandon (Courtney), Jonathon, Bradley, Ashley (Travis), Hanna, Coby (Kelsey), Andrew, and Nikki; four great-grandchildren, Gabe, Nora, Mason, and Beckett.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Beth Ann Melichar; her siblings, Bonnie Sandage, and Nancy Wheeler; and her son-in-law, Keith Traphagen.

Funeral services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Lain officiating. Burial will follow at St. Isidore Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3pm to 8pm on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, and from 9am until service time on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at the Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
