Lisa Wheatley

Lisa Wheatley, 58, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Linda E. White Hospice House, in Evansville, IN.

She was born on January 17, 1965, in Tell City, IN, the daughter of Leonard and Regina (Collignon) Wheatley.

Lisa enjoyed being outdoors, watching sunsets, nature and all wildlife. On most beautiful days she could be found feeding the animals in her backyard or tending to her garden. She had quite the green thumb and could take any puny plant and bring it back to life. Lisa also loved spending time with her grandchildren and cooking them breakfast.

She is survived by her daughter, Brook Aldridge and her children, Kingston, Korbin, Kalynn, and Kamrynn of Tell City; her son, Timothy Chase Aldridge, his wife Krystal and their son Harrison of Tell City; siblings, Charlotte Persinger (John Waninger) of Tell City, David Wheatley of Tell City, Gary Wheatley (Lori) of Mt. Pleasant, Kathy Gibson of Leavenworth, Angela Wheatley (Joe Voges) of Tell City, and Tim Wheatley of Magnet; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Lisa is preceded in death by her brother Jeffrey Wheatley.

Graveside services will be held at 12pm Saturday, July 1, 2023, at St. Augustine Cemetery in Leopold, IN.
