Loel E. Rudolph, 66, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
He was born September 15, 1957, in Tell City, IN, son of the late Charles M. and Mary O. (Taylor) Rudolph. Loel was united in marriage to Patricia “Patty” Fuchs on April 11, 2011.
After graduating from Tell City High School, Loel joined the National Guard. He worked as an electrician at Waupaca Foundry for 20 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 213, Tell City Moose Lodge 1424, and the Anderson Township Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, going to the local shooting matches drinking a cold beer and working on his swing at his company's golf scrambles. Most importantly he loved spending time with his grandkids.
Surviving is his wife, Patricia Rudolph; children, Nicholas Parrott (Jordan)of Tell City, Travis Cavazos (Angel) of Colorado Springs, and Jamie Zweifel of Elizabethtown, KY; siblings, Bill Rudolph (Dianne), Marilyn Rhodes (Melvin), Melvin Rudolph, Charlena Williams (Marty), his twin, Noel Rudolph (Gina), Diana Lain (Norm), Jackie DuPont and Manette VanWinkle (Danny); and 6 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Rudolph and a sister-in-law, Valerie Rudolph.
Funeral services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Errol Wright officiating. Burial will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery in Cannelton.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 2 to 7pm, and on Wednesday from 9am until service time at the funeral home.
