Lois Froehlich, 88, of Tell City, passed away on October 11, 2023, in New Albany, Indiana.
Born on February 22, 1935, in Tell City, Lois was the daughter of Glenn E. and Oma (Moneta) Cronin.
Lois was a 1953 Tell City High School graduate. She was united in marriage to Donald E. Froehlich, Sr., on September 19, 1953, and together they shared 65 years.
Lois was retired from Don's Automotive. She enjoyed quilting, watching sports, cooking, and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. Her greatest enjoyment in life was her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen (Jack) Haywood of New Albany, IN, Sheila (Steve) Wallace of Henryville, IN; sons, Donnie (Debbie) Froehlich, Jr. and Robert (Christie) Froehlich both of Tell City; siblings, Mark (Sandy) Cronin, Curtis (Mary Helen) Cronin and Jane Kessans all of Tell City; grandchildren, Jason Wallace, Nikki Elliott, Vanessa Ford, Zachary Froehlich, Dylan Froehlich, Nick Haywood, Katie Pfund, Andy Froehlich, Dalton Froehlich; 21 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband Lois was preceded in death by her siblings, Linda Terry, Zelda Cronin and Robert "Bob" Cronin.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Rev Paul Alvey officiating. Burial will follow in Lilly Dale Cemetery in Gatchel.
Visitation be from 11am to 3pm on Sunday and at the funeral home.
