Marilyn E. Keown

Marilyn E. Keown, 71, passed away December 31, 2021 at her home in Tell City.

She was born December 4, 1950 in Tell City, IN the Daughter of the late Rudy and JoElla Goble Rice.

Marilyn was a 1969 graduate of Cannelton High School, earned an undergraduate degree from Brescia College and received a masters degree in social work from the University of Louisville.

She was employed as a social worker and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. She enjoyed watching television, movies, music and animals.

Survivors include son, Tony (Whitney) Keown and Patrick (Sonya) Keown both of Tell City, IN, sisters, Yvonne Simpson of Tell City, Rosalund Sipes of Cannelton and a grand child, Noah Keown.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents is a brother, Larry Rice.

There will be a memorial mass at St. Michael Catholic Church at a later date.
