Martha Stephens

Martha went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 23, 2022, reuniting with her beloved Bob.

Martha was born on April 11, 1930, in Tell City, IN, to the late Eli W. and E. Lucille Hawkins. Martha was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Stephens on December 31, 2000. Martha was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Middletown. She was also a devoted member of Lions Club International.

Surviving is her stepson, Mark (Laurel) Stephens of Sarasota, FL; siblings, Sue (Allen) Daum of Tell City, Stanley (Norma) Hawkins of Douglas, KS, Judy (Bobby) Spencer of Benton, AR, Paulette McCallister of Tell City, Claudine (Joe) Peter of Tell City; sister-in-law, Christine Hawkins of Tell City, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her siblings, Aubrey Hawkins, Estel Hawkins, and Albert Hawkins.

Per the family's request services will be private with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in Middletown, Ky, or the Lions Club.
