Mary Catherine Brown

Mary Catherine Brown, went to be with Jesus on May 2, 2025, she was 86 years old.

She was born on July 16, 1938, daughter of the late Thomas Elijah and Myrtle (Kieser) Wind. She was united in marriage to Curt Brown on October 21, 1995, and they shared a happy life together until his passing in 2008.

During her working career Mary had worked for General Electric and Werner Drug Store. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, gardening, and reading.

Survivors include her stepchildren, Steve (Paula) Brown of Tell City, Sandy (Roger) Parr of Branchville, April Taylor of Tell City, Scott (Mary) Brown of Owensboro, and Shannon (John) Kleeman of Tell City; her sister, Martha Wind of Tell City; and several grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Curt.

Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lilly Dale Cemetery, in Gatchel, IN.

Visitation will be on Monday from 4pm to 7pm and on Tues from 9am until service time.
