Mary Emma (Moseby) Owen

Mary Emma Owen, 91, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 at her residence in Tell City, Indiana.

She was born February 21, 1930 to the late Radie and Minnie Bell (Naegle) Moseby.

She was supportive with her husband in operation of the family business, the Tell City Coca Cola Bottling Company. Mary Emma was a very active member of Evangelical United Church of Christ and its prayer shawl ministry and clown ministry. She was also a member of Hoosier Heights Country Club, Red Hat Society and the Tell City Historical Society. She enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, knitting, playing piano, traveling, cooking and most of all she enjoyed being with her family and her dogs Max and Suzette.

Surviving are her children; Mary Jane Conner, Ft. Worth, Texas and Cline William Owen (Heather), West Lafayette, Indiana; grandchildren, Stephanie Skinner (Eric), Molly Owen and Lucas Owen; great grandchildren, Elliott, Sam, Elaina and Ajani.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Cline Hughes Owen; sisters, Roberta Dauby, Agnes Hartz and Hazel Powell; brother, Jimmy Moseby.

Funeral services will be held at 11am CST Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with entombment in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3pm until 7pm Tuesday, November 23, 2021 and from 9am until service time on Wednesday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home in Tell City.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Evangelical United Church of Christ or the Tell City Historical Society.
