Mary F. (Fuchs) Hearst

Mary F. “Pudy” Hearst, 91, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Brickyard Healthcare in Tell City.

She was born June 21, 1931, in Troy, IN, the daughter of the late Carl P. and Adella (Kessans) Fuchs. Mary was united in marriage to the late Earl “Bud” Hearst on August 26, 1961.

Mary worked in motor assembly at GE and was a member of the Legion and VFW Auxiliaries. She loved bingo and going to the casino, but most of all she loved her kids and grandkids.

Surviving are her children, JoAnn (Bill) Schroeder, and Bob (Cheryl) Cravens Jr.; her daughter-in-law Charlene Cravens; brother, Ralph Fuchs; grandchildren, Kevin Wood, Carrie (D.J.) Dietrich, Andy (Heather) Schroeder, Aaron (Carla) Schroeder, Josh (Tonya) Cravens, Nick (Danielle) Cravens, Christian Mattingly, Cassie Mattingly, Chealsey Mattingly, Derek (Katie) Cravens, Will (Kymber) Cravens; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, and her husband, she is preceded in death by her son Gary Cravens; and her siblings Alice Pannett, Irvin “Bud” Fuchs, Mildred Boehm, Carolyn Adkins, and Carl M. Fuchs.

Services will be 11:00am Monday, January 30, 2023, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday, January 29, 2023, and from 9:00am until service time on Monday, January 30, 2023, at the funeral home with Fr. Tony Hollowell officiating.
