Michael Dean Holman

Michael Dean Holman, 61, of Tell City, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.

Mike was born in Perry County, IN on September 8, 1962, to Curt and Joyce (Pund) Holman.

After graduating from Tell City HS in 1980, Mike served our country in the US Navy and was, most recently, an operator at Meggitt, Inc. He was an active
member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and National Rifle Association.

Mike was a loving father, a dedicated son and brother, and beloved uncle who stayed local in Tell City to assist with the care of his mother. He generously devoted his time to coaching peewee football and enjoyed volunteering for Ducks Unlimited. Mike was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors and spending time at the Circle H family farm. 

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Holman of Tell City; daughter, Christina (Holman) Millay, Tucson. AZ, brothers Wayne (Cara) Holman and Bill Holman; nephews Ian Holman
and Clayton (Michela) Holman; and niece Kendall Holman.  Mike was preceded in death by his father, Curt Holman.
 

Funeral Services will be at 7:00 pm on Monday July 1, 2024, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Fr. Tony Hollowell officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday at the funeral home.
