Nancy Huebschman Obituary

Nancy R. Huebschman, 80, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Oakwood Health Campus.

 

She was born on December 25, 1940 the daughter of the late Homer and Nora (Miles) Wheeler and was raised by the late William and Eva Esarey of Bristow, IN. She married her husband of 63years Donald Huebschman on November 30, 1957.

 

She had been employed at General Electric and also LaCantina, Louis Tavern, PMA and Micks Market.

 

Nancy enjoyed playing euchre, dominos and word search puzzles. Her granddaughters and great granddaughter were her sunshine.

 

She is survived by her husband, Donald Huebschman of Evanston, IN, sons, Don (Rachel) Huebschman of Santa Claus, IN, Nathan Huebschman of Evanston, IN; sisters, Irene Kreig of Tell City, IN, Mary Lasiter of Greenwood, IN, Priscilla Wheeler of Auburn, GA; granddaughters, Tiffany (Travis) Roll of Evanston, IN, Winnerly (Troy) Jeffers of Santa Claus, IN and a great granddaughter, Kenedi Jeffers.

 

In addition to her parents and her foster parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Bill Wheeler, John Wheeler, Jim Wheeler, Homer Lee Wheeler, Nelson Wheeler, Dorothy Franchville, Olive June Lasiter and an infant sibling.

 

Services will be 2:00pm Saturday, June 26, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 8:30pm Friday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home and from 1:00pm to 2:00pm Saturday at the church.

 

Memorial donations may be made to St. John Lutheran Church of Heart to Heart Hospice.
