Neil E. Bockhold

Neil E. Bockhold, 64, passed away Tuesday March 15, 2022 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born in Perry County, IN on September 29, 1957 to the late John and Imogene (Howe) Bockhold. On July 16, 1977 He was united in marriage to Connie Poole at St. Augustine Catholic Church.

Neil was a boilermaker with Local 374 for 28 years and enjoyed being on the river, vacationing with friends and spending time with his granddaughters. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Connie of Leopold, IN; a son, Clint (Amber) Bockhold of Derby, IN, siblings, Kevin (Carrie) of Dexter, IN., Tim (Tina) of Leopold, IN. Kim Steen (Steve) of Bandon, IN, Tonya Stillwell of Branchville, IN., Michele Peter (David) of Gatchel, IN and granddaughters, Morgan and Mia.

Preceding him in death in death in addition to his parents are 2 brothers, Jerry and Randy and a niece Melissa.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00am Monday, March 21,2022 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial following in the church's cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 7:00pm Sunday and from 9:00 to 10:30am Monday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
